Utramerur; The newly constructed Karpaka Vinayagar temple in Neerkunram village is nearing completion and the Maha Kumbabhishaka ceremony is going to be held on September 5. In this village, there is a small idol of Karpaka Vinayagar, which ancestors used to worship in the past years. The people of the area decided to build a new temple for Karpaka Vinayagar in the area where there was a small idol. Accordingly, the construction work of the temple has started and has been going on for the past few months. The Kumbabhishaka ceremony is scheduled to be held on September 5, after the tirupani is nearing completion.
