Nilsen has been dropping hints on instagram in recent days that he misses being on a Christmas tour.
It has been four years since Kurt announced that the Christmas tour in 2020 would be the last, and that “an era was over”.
That didn’t happen, as the pandemic put a stop to the planned farewell Christmas tour – which was postponed to 2022.
Since Kurt himself got COVID two years ago, some concerts were postponed to 2023. And that was supposed to be the last with Christmas on the artist’s menu.
On Monday,Kurt posted a video, where his partner Oda Rivrud (34) in best “Love Actually” style rang the doorbell at their home in Lier. She had clear poster wishes to hear her boyfriend sing Christmas songs again.
Comments poured in under the video.
“It is a public demand that you must come back and do Christmas concerts. For many of us, this has become a valued memory and part of the holiday”, reports a fan.
When Kurt said he would stop doing Christmas tours, he had over ten years of sold-out Christmas shows behind him.
The album has as been a recurring hit on the charts every year.
