It is customary for the central government to give bonuses to the employees working in the railway administration in India every year on the occasion of Dussehra festival. Accordingly, bonus will be given to more than 11 lakh employees this year as well. These employees will be given bonus for 78 days of service. A request was made to the Central Government that the bonus amount should be paid to similarly qualified non-Gazetted employees. Their salary is Rs 7000 per month. Accordingly, 17,951 rupees should be given as bonus for 78 days.
The Union Cabinet was expected to give its approval this week. As the railway employees in Natabandil expect to be given additional bonus amount for 78 days after that, General Secretary of National Federation of Railway Employees M. Raghavaiah has written to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav regarding the additional bonus amount.
In this case, the central cabinet has given approval to give the bonus. About 1832 crore rupees have been allocated for this purpose. It is expected that 11.27 lakh non-Gazetted employees will benefit from this. It is also announced that Indian Prime Minister Modi will give bonus amount to the employees before Dussehra festival.
