A lot changed for Sepp Kuss after his title in the Vuelta a España. No matter how much he tries to remain anonymous, he will always be a guarded runner and, of course, there will be more pressure to obtain results.

However, he intends to tone down his possible future as a boss. “Now it’s clearer what I’m capable of,” he told Wieler Revue. “I showed that I can perform three weeks and even win a big one. But I don’t know what that means for my future,” the American continued.
“I usually go to races with nothing to lose. Now I will have something to lose and I must learn to deal with it,” she assessed. “In any case, I can still be an anonymous runner, although I know that they will ask me for more results in the coming years,” he explained.
“I’m going to work for Vingegaard in the Tour de France, but I like that they have me as a wild card, that motivates me,” warned the climber, who then spoke about the possible defense of his title in the 2024 Vuelta. “The dynamics change, we will see. But of course I want to win other races later,” he said.
“For me the Vuelta is the great ideal. Less stress, less danger. In the Tour every day is pure nerve, harder transition stages and fewer steep climbs. It doesn’t benefit me that much,” she closed.
