Kuwait City: Kuwait airlines with shuttle services from Kuwait to Qatar. The flight services are arranged in such a way that you can reach Doha in the morning and watch the World Cup matches and return in the evening.
Airline shuttle services will start from Kuwait on November 21. The services will continue till the end of the World Cup matches on December 18. As there are shuttle flights on the day of the match, it will be a big relief for expatriates coming from Kuwait not to spend a lot of money for hotel accommodation in Doha to watch the game.
Those booking travel on the shuttle service must have a FIFA match ticket and HAYA card. Local media reported that the flights will charge 130 to 150 dinars from those who come to watch the first round match.
Only hand baggage weighing up to seven kilograms is allowed on the journey. Transportation from the airport to the stadium and back will also be provided as part of the package. The trip is scheduled to arrive in Qatar four hours before the matches and return four hours after the matches.
Many expatriates including Malayalis from Kuwait travel to Qatar to watch the game. It is hoped that special flights will be of great benefit to all of them.
