Directed by Nelson Dileepkumar, the film is a hostage-based thriller. The government has decided to ban the film because it shows scenes of Islamic terrorism against the interests of Kuwait.
Earlier, the Kuwaiti government banned the screening of Tulkar Salman’s Gurup and Vishnu Vishal’s FIR. Films depicting Arab countries as the homeland of extremists are generally not available in Kuwait. This could be a huge blow to the “Beast” team. This may affect foreign collections. Beast is licensed for release in the United Arab Emirates and other Arab countries. Vijay plays the role of RAW officer Veera Raghavan. Starring Pooja Hegde, Selvaragavan, Shine Tom Sacco and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. Anirudh Ravichandran composed the music for the film.
