Kuwait City: Authorities shut down a food company that sold expired food items in Kuwait. The company used to falsify the expiration date of the food items and sell them to restaurants and cafes under the guise of wholesalers.

The officials of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry closed down the company after receiving information that the company was violating the law and committing a serious crime. A food company in Shuwaikh Vyavasai region was closed. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the company. The Ministry has stated that such activities are a serious threat to the health and safety of consumers.

Last day, the men’s salon was closed by the authorities after finding serious violations in Kuwait. A men’s salon in Salmia area was closed. The action was taken after a team of inspectors from the Control Department of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry found serious violations of the law.

During the inspection, it was found that cosmetics and creams past their expiry date were being used in the salon. During the unannounced visit, the salon was also found to have violated hygiene and safety standards. Using expired cosmetic products can cause major health problems for consumers.
