Kuwait had earlier announced that it would provide special benefits to health workers who worked around the clock to ensure the health of the people around the world as the Kovid outbreak intensified. An amount of `60 crore has been set apart for this.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced that from March 1, the Kovid Front will provide free food items to the militants. Officials said food kits containing rice, sugar, cereals, milk powder, cooking oil, tomato paste and chicken would be delivered to the homes of the frontline fighters during the month. Both locals and foreigners working in these areas will benefit. The list of eligible candidates will be collected from both the ministries and handed over to the distribution center, officials said.
