Kuwaiti Artist Ahmed Gohar Hospitalized: Updates on Health Condition and Controversy Surrounding Social Media Circulation of His Picture and Calls for Treatment Abroad

The Kuwaiti artist, Ahmed Gohar, was ill, and was taken to the hospital.
Kuwaiti accounts reported news of the deterioration of the artist’s health condition and his entry into intensive care at Mubarak Hospital, amid appeals to transfer him for treatment abroad.
In the same context, the artist, Tariq Al-Ali, published a video clip in which he said: “I assure you, Ahmed Gohar is fine.. and it is not true what is being circulated about the deterioration of his health,” adding that he entered the hospital for medical examinations.

And he said: “A picture is being circulated in the accounts and groups of the artist Ahmed Gohar, accompanied by appeals for his treatment abroad, and I hope to investigate accuracy, because today if any picture of an artist or even an ordinary person who has his family has family, you frighten people.”
And he continued: “The man is conducting medical examinations and his affairs are fine and good, and I hope that such matters will not be discussed.”
