Thiruvananthapuram: The KPCC has demanded stern action against KV Thomas, who attended the CPM Party Congress. KPCC alleges KV Thomas violates discipline and takes anti-party stance KPCC President K Sudhakaran wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi in this regard.

The KPCC had earlier reported to the AICC that the press conference in Kochi was a breach of discipline. The action against KV Thomas will be decided by the High Command. At the same time, KV Thomas said he could not be expelled from Congress.

He said he had primary membership in the Congress and that membership was distributed by those who had not read the party constitution. KV Thomas was the special guest at the CPM Party Congress.

The CPM gave a warm welcome to KV Thomas. CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan received him with scorn. A picture of Jesus Christ was also given as a gift. KV Thomas began his speech by addressing the comrades.

KV Thomas said that it was the right decision to come to the seminar and it was Pinarayi Vijayan who suggested to take the appropriate decision. At the same time, KV Thomas spoke in support of the K Rail project. Thomas said that he should not oppose K Rail and that he should not oppose it as Pinarayi was the one who brought the project.
