The Santiago Bernabéu experienced a memorable day with the presentation of Kylian Mbappé as a new Real Madrid player.
More than 80,000 fans gathered at the stadium to cheer on the French striker, who arrives at the club with high expectations.
The welcome ceremony included the screening of two exciting videos: one highlighting the 15 European Cups won by Real Madrid and another showing Mbappé’s best plays and goals. In addition to President Florentino Pérez, members of the Board of Directors, the club’s honorary president José Martínez Pirri, the director of Institutional Relations Emilio Butragueño, and Real Madrid legends such as Santamaría, Zidane, Raúl, Solari and Arbeloa attended.
On his social media, Mbappé expressed his excitement: “Madridistas, today was an unforgettable day for me and my family. I have made my childhood dream come true. So many emotions. Thank you for the affection and love for so many years. Very happy and proud to be part of the great @realmadrid family. I can’t wait to start playing for the best club in the world. HALA MADRID!”

Florentino Pérez welcomed the new signing with enthusiasm: “We welcome an exceptional player who is here to help us continue winning. First of all, I would like to congratulate the Spanish national football team for having won the fourth European Championship in its history. My congratulations not only for having won this great title but for the way in which they achieved it, winning all their matches.”
A visibly emotional Mbappé walked up onto the stage at the north end of the stadium, accompanied by Real Madrid’s 15 European Cups. Addressing the fans, he said:
«It’s incredible to be here. I’ve dreamed of playing for Real Madrid for many years and today my dream has come true. I’m very happy. I want to thank first of all the president Florentino Perez, who believed in me from day one. A lot of things happened, but I want to thank you. I also want to thank all the people who have worked so that I can be here. It was very difficult, but we won. I’m now a Real Madrid player.»
