Kylian Mbappé, questioned about his future, recalled that he was “Parisian and under contract” and reaffirmed his “dream” of participating in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, a desire, however, which “does not depend” on him .

Where does he see himself evolving next season? “At Paris Saint-Germain, I am Parisian, I am under contract, so it is Paris Saint-Germain”, replied Mbappé, questioned on this subject on Wednesday evening during the program all sports on France 3.

In May 2022, the 24-year-old French team and PSG striker renewed his contract with the Parisian club until 2025, including an optional year according to the press.

Asked about his next goals, Mbappé explained that he wanted to “win the Champions League”. “I’ve already made a final (lost in 2020 to Bayern Munich) and I’ve made a semi-final, quarter-final, round of 16… I’ve done everything except win, that’s all I miss. I hope it will come as soon as possible,” he explained.

A dream of playing the Olympics, “even more in Paris”

About the 2024 Olympics (July 26-August 11), the 2018 world champion and finalist of the 2022 edition with the Blues, reiterated his “dream” of participating. “I hope to be there. Everyone knows that I’ve always dreamed of playing in the Olympics, after that it doesn’t depend on me, there are a lot of parameters that come into play and we will have to study them all, ”he explained.

However, “I will not force to do them because if people do not want me to do them, that means that I will not have to do them”, continued Mbappé.

“The truth is that it’s not in a Fifa calendar. There is also a club, there is a national team, because there is a Euro before (June 14-July 14, 2024 in Germany), so we have to discuss… It’s all these parameters that we have to take into account, but of course it would be a dream to play the Olympics, even more so in Paris,” he added.
