New information regarding the murder of the 28-year-old man by his cousins in Kypseli is coming to light.
Specifically, the two brothers claim that their 16-year-old cousin abused them 12 years ago, when they were 5 and 7 years old.
The brothers, after the murder, returned to their home. They told their mother what they had done. Together, they went to the Security department in Kypseli and surrendered.
The police found near the scene of the murder, near bins, two folding knives with 9 cm blades and covered in blood in a discarded refrigerator. When the brothers revealed that they had disposed of the ‘weapons’ of murder.
The young men admitted his action. The youngest, the 17-year-old boy, reported being the one who stabbed the 28-year-old in the neck, a blow that turned out to be fatal.
According to what was revealed by Vassilis Lambropoulos, the police editor of the newspapers “TO VIMA” and “TA NEA”, the question of EL.AS. concern why after 12 years the two brothers made this move and not earlier, and the most likely answer is because the 28-year-old is now visiting Greece.
“He admitted everything”
The boys’ father also testified to the police, to whom his children had previously confided what they allegedly had at a young age from his cousin. The father then called his nephew, asked him if what he was learning was true and he allegedly admitted it.
“I contacted my nephew and asked him if what my children told me he did to them was true. He admitted and confirmed most of it, telling me ‘it was a mistake we made as children,’” said the self-confessed father of perpetrators.
For their part, the brothers told the police that they were angry at the response they received from their cousin when they directly accused him of raping him.

The two brothers, who will be examined by a medical examiner, were taken to the prosecutor who prosecuted them and referred to apologize to the investigator, and their parents were also arrested, as one young boy is a minor.
Crime in progress or premeditated?
Speaking to MEGA, Giorgos Kaliakmanis, honorary president of the association of SE Attica police officers, said that the authorities are investigating whether the crime was committed in the heat of the moment or whether it was premeditated.
“What the police are investigating is whether there was an element of mental impulse or whether the two brothers planned the murder. It is also being investigated which knife or knives they used to take their cousin’s life,” said Mr Kaliakmanis.
