Los Angeles’ art scene is buzzing, and it’s about to get a whole lot bigger. The Other Art Fair is returning to L.A. Art Week for its 15th local edition, and this year’s showing will be the largest yet, featuring 160 independent artists.

A Larger Fair, a Deeper Meaning

The Other Art Fair’s latest L.A. edition combines artistic expression with community support.

  • The Other Art Fair returns to Los Angeles February 26–March 1, 2026.
  • This year’s fair features 160 independent artists, a record for the L.A. event.
  • The fair is partnering with Altadena Brick by Brick to support rebuilding efforts after the Eaton Fire.
  • Marie-José has been named the Winter 2026 New Futures award recipient.
  • Interactive installations, including artist-designed ping pong tables, will be on display.

Q: What is The Other Art Fair?
A: It’s a leading platform for independent artists, offering a unique opportunity to discover and buy art directly from the creators, and this year’s L.A. edition is the biggest to date.

The fair, taking place February 26–March 1, 2026, will be held at 3Labs in Culver City. But this edition isn’t just about showcasing art; it’s also about giving back. The fair is honoring the first anniversary of the Eaton Fire by partnering with Altadena Brick by Brick, a local nonprofit dedicated to rebuilding homes west of Lake Avenue.

The Art of Ping Pong: Play it Forward

Visitors can participate in “The Art of Ping Pong: Play it Forward,” a collaboration where gameplay on custom, artist-designed ping pong tables—which also function as sculptural works—directly funds rebuilding efforts.

Los Angeles-based artist Marie-José has been recognized as the Winter 2026 New Futures award recipient. Her Afro-Surrealistic work, exploring themes of identity through painting, collage, stained glass, and textiles, will be a focal point of the fair.

Beyond the artist booths, attendees can immerse themselves in installations like “Thank You” by Linus Gruszewski, a walk-through experience constructed from 1,500 repurposed take-out bags. “The Goodbye Line,” an interactive voicemail booth, and “The Faux-To Booth,” offering real-time hand-drawn portraits, add to the fair’s experiential offerings.

📆 When: February 26–March 1, 2026
