Since the day he regained his freedom after being imprisoned for three months, L-Gante has shared photos, comments or thoughts on his social networks. In one of those posts, the Cumbia 420 leader left a strong message against some people around him, although he did not identify them.

The musician started a common game that many celebrities do: the question and answer game. That led to one of his fans making a playful query. “When you were in jail, did you realize who your real friends are?” he asked.

What L-Gante said in his first interview after leaving prison

The snapshot arose after the interview that the singer gave to Luis Ventura for Secretos Verdaderos (América), where he also spoke and reflected on what he felt while in prison. “I admit I thought I was leaving within the first day or two. In one part it seemed to me that it was a lot of circus”, he reflected on the slowness of the judicial process.

L-Gante assured that while he was in prison he deluded himself with his freedom on several occasions. However, as the weeks passed, he chose to focus on creativity and write new songs. “I tried not to let myself be consumed by the thought of when he was going to come out, I took advantage of the time to give him a good performance and get stronger,” he said.

When asked why he believed he should have remained in the Quilmes DDI for 100 days, Elián Valenzuela expressed: “I don’t know, a bad move.” Then, they asked him if he believed there was an underlying political or personal situation, and he said: “I noticed it as cruelty in one part. A thousand things can cross my mind there, but the important thing is that it is resolved well in the process and that justice is done ”.

Also, the cumbia 420 singer spoke about his reunion with Jamaica after being released. “It was deadly, I noticed she was very happy, very happy, and so was I. Staying with her was what made me take everything so calmly,” he reflected.
