Draped in national colors and overjoyed, supporters of the Atlas Lions men, women and children, including members of the African communities established in Laâyoune, took over the streets, public squares, gardens and squares to give give free rein to their joy, to take their hats off to this new feat of the lions of the Atlas who have added the Portugal team to their hunting list, after Spain, Canada and Belgium.

For their part, members of the African community established in Laâyoune praised the quality of the Moroccan selection’s play, noting that the players gave everything to achieve this historic victory, a first for Moroccan and African football.
