Laayoune Airport: More than 186,000 passengers at the end of November (ONDA)
Laayoune – Hassan 1er Airport in Laayoune welcomed 186,124 passengers during the first eleven months of 2022, according to the National Airports Office (ONDA).
This volume represents a recovery rate of 80% compared to the same period in 2019, during which 233,108 travelers were welcomed by this airport, specifies ONDA in its latest report on commercial air traffic.
For the month of November alone, this airport platform recorded a recovery rate of 81% with 19,501 passengers welcomed, compared to 23,978 travelers during the same period in 2019, the Office reported.
Furthermore, ONDA notes that the Kingdom’s airports welcomed 18,467,415 passengers at the end of last November, representing a recovery rate of 80% compared to the same period in 2019.
For cumulative air traffic from January to the end of November 2022, Morocco’s airports continue to show recovery rates that are increasing compared to the same period in 2019, welcoming 80% of passengers and 82% of airport movements, or respectively 18,467,415 passengers and 157,687 airport movements for all airports.
