This call for project proposals, which is part of the third program of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) relating to the improvement of income and the economic integration of young people, aims to strengthen and promote promising sectors in the province, indicates a press release from the CPDH.

It is aimed at organizations working in the field of the social and solidarity economy which carry project ideas, emanating from promising sectors in the province and having a great impact on the employment of young people and facilitating their economic integration, taking into account take into account the gender approach, explains the same source.

These projects target cooperatives and the federation of cooperatives to which Law No. 12-112 applies (provided that the proportion of young people and women constitutes more than 30% of employees), economic interest groups, in addition small and very small businesses.

The press release underlines that the candidates ultimately selected can benefit from technical support in the field of development of production capacities (technical support in the field of brands, quality mark, certification, etc.).

They will also benefit from financial support up to 60% of the total cost of the project, without exceeding the authorized ceiling, set at 300,000 dirhams for cooperatives and 100,000 dirhams for small and very small businesses, and to which holders of projects contribute the remaining 40%.

Promising sectors in the province of Laâyoune include agriculture, cemeline meat and its derivatives, the environment, the collection, recycling and treatment of all kinds of waste, and crafts.

These also include the sectors of weaving traditional tents and carpets, leather goods, wood and aluminum engraving, sea fishing, as well as the repair of fishing boats.

Candidates must submit their application to the youth platform in Laâyoune before September 30.
