Chaired by the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Mohamed Saad Berrada, this session, held in the presence of the wali of the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region, governor of the province of Laâyoune, and the governors of the provinces of ‘Es-Semara and Boujdour and members of the CA, was also marked by the approval of the continuing training program for 2025.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Berrada stressed that this session represents a major step in accelerating educational reform and defining the contours of quality public schools, according to a participatory approach that meets the expectations of students and their families. and educational staff, by instilling a new high-impact dynamic in classrooms.

In this context, he emphasized the role of the CAs of the AREFs, given the importance of the subjects on their agenda, noting that they are likely to initiate a debate with the various stakeholders. and the members of the Council, with the aim of supporting the implementation of the various projects.

For his part, the director of the AREF of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, Hamdi Krita, presented the progress report on the implementation of the 2022-2026 Roadmap, and the programs of the 2023-2024 procedural framework. , as well as the regional action plan, the draft budget for the year 2025, and the continuing training plan for the same year.

This session was also punctuated by the signing of the annex to the performance contract for the year 2025 between the Ministry of National Education and the AREF of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, as well as the annexes performance contracts between the AREF and the Regional Center for Education and Training Professions, and the Provincial Directorates that report to it.

Cooperation and partnership agreements were also signed on this occasion.

On the sidelines of the CA meeting, the Minister, accompanied by the Wali of the region, visited the “Youssef ben Tachfine” primary school, having joined the “Pioneer Schools” program for the 2024 school year. 2025, where he followed explanations on the material and educational means implemented to succeed in this experience.

This visit was also an opportunity to learn about the efforts made by all stakeholders to bring this project to fruition, which aims to fill the gaps observed among students and provide them with academic support to promote their success.

Mr. Berrada and the delegation accompanying him subsequently went to the educational and training development establishment “Sidati Sellami”, which offers a series of activities relating to artistic, literary and linguistic workshops. and technology for the benefit of more than 300 for the current school year, and whose supervision is ensured by 17 educational executives and 10 facilitators from partner associations.
