72 hours after the victim’s burial, the Labé regional hospital was contacted for what was happening but no one there wanted to address this fatal case, however the head of the blood transfusion service, Dr Mamadou Aliou Baldé explains that his service has a solar blood bank with a storage capacity of just over 150 bags with a validity period of 35 days.

The banking of blood depends on the needs of the various services continues Dr Baldé who justifies blood ruptures by the use of three or four bags for the needs of a patient unless these bags are replaced and also during the period of childbirth.
