The government is currently approving the addition of more countries as red states, where the morbidity of the corona is high, in order to prevent Israelis from traveling to and from it, two of the Labor Party ministers opposed.

Transport Minister Merav Michaeli and Minister Nachman Shai voted against the request of the Ministry of Health and Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, in protest of the neglect of the aviation industry, which could collapse as a result of the cancellations of flights.

“Until an immediate outline of assistance to Israeli aviation is achieved, I will not lend a hand to its continued damage. Minister Michaeli warned that “without it, companies will collapse and the workers will be harmed. The State of Israel cannot afford it.”
