After two years adapting to the demands of the pandemic, this weekend the festival witnessed the loyalty of its audience, reaching pre-pandemic figures, around 100 and 120 thousand spectators during four days full of music.
Its director, Xavi Pascual, emphasizes that it has been an “absolute success”, and that this last edition “has shown that Acoustics is no longer ours, but the people’s». Like when singers recover their older repertoire and no longer talk about their songs, but about the world and everyone. “We have left and come back, and the old and new generations have come to the festival. As if nothing had happened. We have experienced it more intensely than ever», explains Pascual.
Thousands of fig trees and Girona residents from all over the province have trod the streets of the city these days, which have been filled with fans and curious people who wanted to enjoy the Catalan music program that characterizes the festival. La Rambla, Plaça Catalunya and Plaça de la Palmera in Figueres have been the stage and spectators of the concerts that have taken place there.

Di-Versiones closes the festival this evening, as usual, after a Mariona Escoda that has moved the younger and familiar audience, such as the audience at l’Acustiqueta. In her schedule, the singer of Eufória has achieved a practically record number of attendances. As for the cover group, it puts the final note on the festival and marks the beginning of the routine. “Di-Versiones is a tradition and everyone is really looking forward to it, it’s the best ending to a summer that people don’t want to end», Pascual sentence.
