Lady Gaga responded after a TikTok video showing a malicious Facebook group created by her former college classmates went viral.
The now-deleted Facebook group was created years ago as Lady Gaga sought to pursue her dream of pop stardom while attending New York University under her real name, Stefani Germanotta.
Gaga had a great response when she commented on a TikTok post that featured screenshots of the group, called “Stefani Germanotta, you’ll never be famous.”
“Some people I went to college with created a while ago,” the singer, 38, wrote on Wednesday, September 11. “That’s why you can’t give up when people doubt you or put you down: you have to keep going.”
The TikTok post showed that the “Bad Romance” singer had the last laugh, as it also included a photo of Gaga at the 2019 Oscars and detailed all of her notable professional achievements.
