The intervention of Christine Lagarde, president of the ECB, in the European Parliament before the vote for the final approval of the Recovery Plan: «Our commitment to maintaining favorable financial conditions is fundamental. The Next Generation Eu package should be implemented so that the EU and Member States emerge from the crisis with stronger economic structures and a higher level of cohesion. If implemented as planned, Next Generation Eu could boost growth as early as this year.
