Lakeland Gadget: Half Price Winter Warmer – £14.99!

by Priyanka Patel

Lakeland’s heated scarf is a game-changer for chilly outings, from walking the dog to attending school events. This winter, it’s been my go-to for shopping trips, carol concerts, church services, and even outdoor pub gatherings – making those colder evenings much more comfortable.

I love mine so much that I purchased one for my mother as a Christmas gift, and several friends have since bought their own after seeing how cozy it keeps me.

But now it’s available for less than half price, marked down from £29.99 to £14.99, and labeled as a ‘last chance to buy’ item, so anyone interested should act quickly.

Did you know? – lakeland, a British retailer specializing in kitchenware and home goods, originally launched the heated scarf in autumn 2023. It quickly gained popularity due to the colder-than-average winter weather.

How Does a Heated Scarf Work?

The scarf utilizes a USB-C connector, compatible with most power banks (sold separately by Lakeland). Simply connect a charged power bank – dropped into a small zip compartment within the scarf – and you’re ready to go.

It features three heat settings, allowing you to adjust the warmth to your preference, from a gentle heat to a toasty embrace.

For full disclosure, I find that wearing the scarf directly against bare skin can get a bit too warm, so I always layer it over a soft scarf or snood.

It can occasionally tangle my hair, but that’s more related to my hair’s length and texture than the scarf itself.

It’s also important to note that individuals with pacemakers should consult with a medical professional or their pacemaker provider to ensure compatibility before using this product.

Pro tip – To maximize battery life with a power bank, keep the scarf on the lowest heat setting when possible. Higher settings drain the power bank more quickly, reducing overall warmth duration.

But, it’s been a fantastic purchase, and with the current half-price discount – down from £29.99 to £14.99 – it’s a great time to grab one and stay cozy throughout the coldest days of January and February. I suspect they won’t restock until next autumn.
