by time news

Mohanlal will remember the shooting days by thanking the audience and the crew while continuing the show with a record achievement in the second coming. He shared his experiences with director Bhadran through Instagram Live.

Live began with a thank you to the audience who had embraced Sphatikam wholeheartedly even after 28 years. Both say that family audiences should definitely watch the film.

Bhadran’s reply to Mohanlal’s question as to when he felt the need to re-release was like this – ‘You are the reason for that. It’s your birthday. Many people in Pala, Kanjirapalli and Eratupetta areas would come home on 30-40 motorcycles and request to be shown on the white screen. At a wedding ceremony, they said that they had the first half of the film in their hands and that they could throw a piece of cloth on a coconut tree and organize a projector to watch it. This feeling came from that energy’.

Bhadran also recalled what happened while shooting the fight scenes in the film. ‘After the fight there is a scene where he jumps over a moving rickshaw. Laughingly, Lal asked if it was possible to do that, and the answer was that Lal might not be able to, but Toma could. Today, that scene is full of applause from the audience in the theater.

Mohanlal also recalled the conflict that was filmed in Changanassery Chanta. Bhadran sir said that he should not wear sandals while shooting that scene. He asked if he could put it in because it was full of nails, but he said he couldn’t, but later he felt some relief and agreed.

The live ended by thanking the producers and co-stars and remembering the departed actors.

The new version of the film, which was released twenty-eight years ago, reached the audience with the visual richness of the 4K technology. The film is showing on 500 screens worldwide.
