Munger: The arms factory has become active just before the Lok Sabha elections. In the same series, police is also taking action against such factories. A big revelation has come to light in the area of Munger parliamentary constituency. Police has exposed five mini gun factories. Munger is also the parliamentary constituency of JDU leader Lalan Singh. Munger Police, acting on the basis of secret information, has exposed the factory. A large quantity of weapons have also been recovered. Trainee ASP Shailendra Singh of Mufassil police station said that the police had received information about this. Action was taken after its verification.
Four accused arrested
ASP said that after the information a special force was formed. STF was also included in this. On reaching there, semi-finished weapons and gun making materials were seized. He said that 5 base machines, two drill machines, three semi-finished pistols, two fully finished pistols, two magazines, 5 magazines and equipment for making weapons were recovered from the spot. Trainee ASP said that four people have been arrested in this case. All of them are Rajaram of Tikrampur, Bittu Kumar of Bihari Marar Tola, Pintu Kumar and Mohd. resident of Mirzapur Bardah.
