Laletta is awesome caring, even my 80 year old father calls me Laletta: Krishnakumar
Twelfth Man is a film directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal. The screenplay of the film is written by KR Krishnakumar. Asif Ali’s film Kooman directed by Jeethu Joseph is also scripted by Krishnakumar.
Krishna Kumar is sharing his experience with Mohanlal during the shoot of Twelfth Man. Krishnakumar said that Mohanlal is very caring and gives a share of the food he gets to his children.
Krishnakumar said that his 80-year-old father and now all generations, including his children, call him Laletta. He spoke about Mohanlal in an interview to Kaumudi Movies.
“Since it was my first film, my family also came to the location. All of them are fans of Laleton. His daughter came with his book. He had signed it.
My cottage is next to Laleton’s cottage. That means it is a neighboring cottage. Knowing that Lullaby is there, many of his friends will bring different food. He would leave some food for my children every day while he was there. Laletan has that kind of caring.
Nice to talk to him. Lalettan was found alone one night at Twelfth Man’s location. I even wrote about the day’s experience. I told him myself when we started watching Laleton and which characters are so beloved.
My generation when I was in college used to call him Laletta. My father, mother and my children call him Laletta. When told about this matter he said what a blessing it is. I was also told how many generations call me Laletta.
Even my 80-year-old father calls him Laletta. People love him so much. I was able to tell and hear many such things from him.
We talked for a long time because the shoot was stopped due to rain that day. “After talking till 5:30 in the morning, I went to sleep but he went to shoot again,” said Krishna Kumar.
