Lamborghini has unveiled the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage during Monterey Car Week, limiting production to 99 units. The special edition celebrates the Miura’s 60th anniversary by pairing nine heritage-inspired exterior colors and classic cannelloni seats with the standard model’s 1,001-horsepower plug-in hybrid V12 powertrain.
When the original Miura debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1966, its transversely mounted V12 engine and ultra-low silhouette established the modern supercar template. Developed by a young team of engineers and designers, the mid-engined exotic quickly became a cultural symbol of Italian creativity and a major competitor to established brands like Ferrari and Porsche.
Sixty years later, Sant’Agata Bolognese is revisiting that foundational milestone. Rather than building a standalone retro revival—an idea explicitly dismissed by design leadership who prefer looking forward—the manufacturer has chosen to apply its heritage narrative to its current flagship platform.
Heritage Colors and Two-Tone Liveries Define the Revuelto Homage
The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage follows a playbook Lamborghini previously executed in 2016, when 50 Aventador Miura Homages marked the model’s 50th milestone. Buyers can select from nine original exterior paint finishes drawn straight from the 1966 palette, including Rosso Arancio, Verde Scandal, Blu Tahiti, Giallo, and Nero Noctis.
Two exclusive two-tone liveries pay direct homage to the original car’s contrasting lower bodywork. One variant pairs Oro Elios accents with shiny gold wheels, while the other matches Grigio Nimbus detailing with matte titanium-finished wheels. Additional exterior touches include a Miura 60 emblem situated near the rear wheel arch above the Revuelto script, a gloss-black rear Lamborghini badge, black brake calipers, and matte black exhaust tips.
Cabin Details and Ad Personam Customization Options
Inside the cabin, the manufacturer recreates the distinctive cannelloni
ribbed seat pattern that collectors associate with vintage examples. Matching leather extends across the center tunnel, door panels, and rear bulkhead. A dedicated Miura 60
embroidery sits between the seats above a carbon-fiber plaque identifying each vehicle as part of the production run.
For collectors who already own a vintage Miura finished in a factory shade outside the nine designated heritage colors, the brand’s Ad Personam personalization program will work directly with owners to recreate that specific historical color combination.
Untouched V12 Hybrid Performance Beneath the Skin
Mechanically, the commemorative edition remains identical to the standard production model. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 works in tandem with three electric motors and a plug-in hybrid system. Lamborghini’s technical specification rates the combined output at 1,015 CV, equivalent to roughly 1,001 horsepower alongside 807 Nm of torque.
That setup propels the all-wheel-drive hybrid from zero to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds, continuing to a top speed exceeding 217 mph. By comparison, the original 1966 car topped out around 180 mph, which made it the fastest production vehicle of its era.
Monterey Car Week Debut and Collectibility Stakes
Production is strictly limited to 99 units, mirroring the exclusivity that defined the original mid-engined icon.
The car makes its world premiere during Monterey Car Week, running from August 7 through August 16, 2026, at the Lamborghini Lounge Monterey. A wider public display featuring a gathering of historic Miuras is scheduled for August 16 along the fairways at Pebble Beach, anchoring the anniversary celebrations in automotive history.
This limited edition model serves as a bridge between the brand’s legendary past and its electrified future, honoring the enduring legacy of the Miura for a new generation.
