Lamezia Terme – The Lamezia summer is not over yet and the city is getting ready to welcome the fifth edition of the “Sport Summer Arena”. Organized by the “Ad Turres MMXX” association and sponsored by the Municipality of Lamezia Terme, the event will liven up Piazza 5 Dicembre in Sambiase, transforming it into a colorful and dynamic sports village from September 6 to 8. On Friday, September 6 at 5 pm, an inauguration ceremony will officially kick off three days of competitions, exhibitions and games. Numerous sports organizations in the area will be involved, ready to show off their talent and share their passion for sport. In support of the initiative, several local sponsors have decided to join this celebration of sport, recognizing its social, cultural and artistic importance. A distinctive element of this fifth edition will be the strong participation of volunteers, the true protagonists behind the scenes, who with commitment and dedication will contribute to creating a unique atmosphere. They will be the ones to ensure the perfect execution of the activities, working as a team to light up the smiles of the participants, the curious and above all the many children who will crowd the square with their contagious enthusiasm.
The sports program will be wide and diverse, designed to involve everyone, from the youngest to adults. Beach volleyball, 3×3 basketball, skating, skateboarding, rhythmic gymnastics tournaments will be organized, as well as performances by local gyms and subbuteo matches, all activities that promise to offer entertainment and fun. Participants will be able to live the unique experience of practicing sports outdoors, in a festive and welcoming context that enhances the value of sharing and being together.
Every evening, the square will be transformed into an open-air stage, thanks to a music station that will spread energy and joy among those present. The entertainment will be entrusted to DJs and local groups. The music will accompany the performances and tournaments, adding a touch of magic to each evening and making the event a true festival of sport and sociality. The appointment is therefore from 6 to 8 September in Piazza 5 Dicembre for three evenings. This event, concludes the note, “is not only a celebration of sport, but a true community celebration, an opportunity to meet, have fun and grow together through the healthy and positive values of sport.
