Especially after the Mullivaikkal war, land encroachments on the Tamil homeland, encroachment of places of worship, encroachment of archeological landmarks, and changing its landmarks have continued.

He further said that the Tamil race should be protected from the brink of destruction and if that is the case land encroachments should be stopped especially in administrative units Sinhala and Tamil should be made official languages.

The 75th Annual Inaugural Ceremony of the Sri Lankan Tamil Republic Party started today (18-12-2022) at 9:30 PM at the Kilinochchi District Cooperative Council Hall under the leadership of the Sri Lankan Tamil Republic Party President Mavai Senathiraja.

Before the event, the guests were welcomed and the party flag was hoisted followed by the lamp lighting and the events started.
