The deadline for participation in the process of redefining the location and boundaries of properties in areas of Lesvos has been extended to Friday, August 16, 2024.

The time extension was deemed necessary due to the large participation of citizens in the process and in order to give sufficient time to those who are interested to be informed and receive the Autopsy File for their property.In fact, in order to facilitate the citizens, the competent service of the Hellenic Land Registry directly informs the beneficiaries of the autopsies to come to the Land Registry Office in the North Aegean and receive the Autopsy File.

The process beganpilots,by the Ministry of Digital Governance and the Hellenic Land Registry, on 5/6/2024, regarding property located in the following OTAs of the Geras Municipal Unit of the Mytilini Municipality of the Lesvos Regional Unit:

  • OTA Mesagro: for all properties starting with KAEK with 330490604 & 330490605
  • OTA Papadou: for all properties whose KAEK starts from 330671207
  • OTA Plakadou: for all properties whose KAEK starts from 330740404
  • OTA Palaiokipou: for all properties whose KAEK starts from 330621504

In the case of these areas, the processing of reports from owners of errors regarding the location and boundaries of their properties has already been completed, and the next step is to update the owners of the affected properties from previous surveys to determine the boundaries of the property determination. more accurate methods are now beginning.

What the citizen should know:

  • All property owners in these areas, who have participated in the previous process of correcting the boundaries and location of their property, must go to the headquarters of the North Aegean Land Registry Office, in Mytilini, until 16/08/2024, to obtain the Autopsy File for his property. Especially for the residents of Gera, since they do not have the opportunity to go to the Mytilini office, they can pick up the Autopsy File at the Pappados-Gera archive by making an appointment the property is marked in cadastral diagrams and in the ” Autopsy Table” with the description of the parts of the KAEK affected by the redefinition.
  • You will then need to notify in writing the affected neighboring owners who did not participate in the autopsy process or did not accept the change to their property boundaries. In the case of receiving a notification about the autopsy file, the Head of the Land Registry Office in the North Aegean sets the deadline for the notification and it is written in the Autopsy File, as well as the details of the owners of the property to which the notification relates. notice must be given.
  • Neighboring owners, as long as they agree with the change of the boundaries of their property, may consent to a responsible declaration or, in case of disagreement, submit written objections to the headquarters of the Land Registry Office in the North Aegean, in Mytilini, or, by appointment to be done, to the Pappados – Geras archive from the North Aegean Cadastre Office, within specific deadlines defined through the announcement process.
  • After completing the process, the temporary cadastral tables and diagrams will be posted to inform the interested parties about the completion of the geometric changes (Article 19 A par.3 of Law 2664/1998).
