Lando Norris won the São Paulo Grand Prix on November 8, 2026, leading McLaren to victory at Interlagos while Mercedes secured the constructors’ world championship.
Norris started from pole position on a damp track. He slipped behind Kimi Antonelli and Liam Lawson at the start.
The surface dried quickly. Norris switched to slick tyres before his rivals.
Antonelli spun on lap 21 at Turn 1. That error handed the lead back to the McLaren driver.
It was a very tough race – very, very tough,
Norris said according to Formula 1.
He added that the main thing today was I just kept it cool and I didn’t make any mistakes.
