In the junior boys’ competition, in the competition of 54 athletes, only the two leading Latvian athletes – Langmanis and Kristers Apels – won until the semi-finals. This gives both of them good starting positions in the semi-finals.

In the semi-final, after the start, Langmanis left ahead of everyone, while Apels fought for a place in the top four. Langmanis drove flawlessly for the rest of the course, taking the win, while Apel, trying to improve his position, failed and ended up in eighth place. At the end of the competition, he took 16th place.

In the grand final, Langmanis, starting from the first track, drove ahead of everyone after the start. After the first corner, his lead only stabilized

In the U-23 age group, Latvian champion Kārlis Pedraudzi, world championship semi-finalist Emīls Mārtiņš Treimanis, as well as Noā Lāke managed to reach the semi-finals. In the first semi-final, Treimanis took eighth place after a fall, ending the stage in 15th position.

Meanwhile, Pedraudzis had a great performance in the second semi-final and won. Läke finished fifth in an intense battle. At the end of the competition, he took tenth place.

In the grand final, Pedraudzim’s start failed and he finished seventh.
