On November 17th, the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Youth League convened a meeting to celebrate the success of the Kimdong Elementary School team and to review the 2025 project achievements within the broader 2026 Youth League business plan. IYRC China 2025: A Showcase of Talent
The IYRC China 2025, held in Shenzhen from December 19 to 22, 2025, drew competitors from over 40 countries. Representing Kimdong Elementary School, students Zhang Jiahui (Class 5A5) and Le Thanh Trung (Class 3A3) distinguished themselves through exceptional skill and creativity.
The team’s medal haul included:
- Gold: Zhang Jiahui – Individual Creative Design
- Silver: Zhang Jiahui and Le Thanzong – Group Energy Exploration (Elementary School)
- Bronze: Zhang Jiahui – Individual Sumo (Elementary School)
The Kimdong Elementary School robotics team also received a certificate of recognition from the competition organizers.
