In Izhevsk (Russian Federation), a fire occurred at the enterprise, the area of ​​which was 3,500 square meters. m.

“There is a fire in a building in Udmurtia,” noted a message published on the department’s Telegram channel.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire occurred at a plant producing detergents and disinfectants on Ordzhonikidze Street, 2. Initially, the fire area was 2,800 square meters. m, but later it increased to 3,500 sq. m. More than 100 specialists and 33 pieces of equipment took part in extinguishing the fire. The causes and circumstances of the emergency are being established.

Specialists from the Rospotrebnadzor department for Udmurtia carried out measurements of maximum permissible concentrations (MPC) of chemical elements in the area of ​​residential buildings on Ordzhonikidze and Klyuchevoy Poselok streets. Exceeding the maximum permissible concentration was not recorded.

Later, the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the fire had been localized. According to the department, there were no casualties.

“In Izhevsk, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated an open fire. Watering and dismantling of structures is underway,” the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported in its Telegram channel.
