If there is a duo that is loved and admired by the Cuban public inside and outside the island, it is “The Nuviola Sisters.” Lourdes and Aymeé are two incredible women and artists, who carry Cuban music deeply. This is why through her Instagram account, Aymeé announced a new concert for both of them.

Next April 4 at the Trail Theater “Las Nuviola” will take the stage to remember sones, boleros… as announced through their Instagram account “La sonera del mundo”. “My gods, many of you know that my career began with the Las Nuviola Duo, and I have never left that artistic side because I love doing voices and singing with my sister Lourdes,” she commented in a post on that social network.

According to the interpreter herself, the public should not miss this opportunity, “we will sing together, separately and with you,” she says.

“We, my sister and I, grew up in a musical family, listening to boleros and ballads. My mother was a composer of children’s music and ballads. It was through her that we met Portillo de la Luz and José Antonio Méndez. We listened to figures like Elena Burke and Moraima Secada, we had that basis,” Lourdes Nuviola recalled during an interview she gave to Diario las Américas, a few years ago.

It was the 1980s in Cuba when The Nuviola Sisters took over the island’s music scene. But before touring the stages, they took their first steps in a talent scout show that fulfilled its objective, as they won with the song “Free of Sin.” ”.

Both sisters have collaborated regularly, on recorded songs, and in the musical training of their youngest offspring, the already very talented performer Paola Guanche, popular after winning La Voz Kids.

Regarding this upcoming concert, Aymeé pointed out that “they will be able to sing and dance and, above all, have fun and have a great time. Thank you for the support you have given us all these years and we hope to continue receiving it. (…) We are waiting for you!”
