Jammu | A government school teacher has been arrested in the case of blasting a bus carrying Vaishno Devi pilgrims. Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist Arif was arrested.
Arif was arrested during the investigation into the recent twin blast case in Jammu’s Narwal. The police also said that an improvised explosive device (IED) kept inside a perfume bottle was recovered from his possession.
He has admitted his involvement in the February 2022 IED blast in Jammu’s Shastri Nagar area and the twin blasts in Narwal on January 21 that left nine people injured.
The police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
