The Famalicão Football Club was defeated in Guimarães, 2-1, against Vitória Sport Club in a match referring to the 4th round of the Liga Portugal Betclic.
The victorious team opened the scoring within the first ten minutes through Kaio César. The Famalicão team reacted very well to the early disadvantage and managed to equalize. Following a corner kick and some rebounds, the ball fell to Sorriso, and the winger displayed great composure when shooting at Bruno Varela’s goal.
The match was always played with a lot of intensity due to the posture of both teams aiming to always keep the opponent’s goal in sight. The home team would become more fortunate just before the end of the compensation period, with Tomás Handel scoring the second goal for the victorians.
