Macron does not rule out the delivery of fighters to Ukraine, but it would be with conditions

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday that “nothing is excluded” when it comes to helping Ukraine in the war against Russiaincluding with fighter jets and, like Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, he was cautious because this would be “a very big step” and conditions would have to be met.

In a press conference after a meeting in The Hague of the two leaders, Macron said that “nothing is ruled out by definition” in raising ways to support kyiv in the war, including the possible delivery of fighter jets by France, but stressed that the Ukrainians have not officially requested the delivery of fighters.
