Death toll from Russian attack in Kharkov rises to nine
At least nine people have died and another 35 have been injured after the bombardment by Russian forces that shook the Ukrainian region of Kharkov on Wednesday night and early Thursday.
“Last night was one of the most tragic for the region of Jarkov throughout the war,” the regional governor, Oleg Sinegubov, wrote on his Telegram page, where he lamented the new offensive by “Russian terrorists” on the “peaceful civilian areas” of this area of Ukraine.
At around 9:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday, a Russian missile hit a three-story residential building in the Saltiv district of Chuhuiv city. Already in the early hours of Thursday, around 4:30 a.m. (local time), rocket impacts were recorded in the districts of, Slobid, Jolodnohirski y Saltivski.
