The “West Coast” Military District published a statement about the latest developments in military operations in the city of Zawiya.
The statement stated:
A number of raids were carried out targeting sites engaged in smuggling and selling fuel illegally.
-Raiding dens used by gangs as fortresses on the outskirts of the city of Zawiya.
– Demolishing a large number of sites that were used as safe havens for criminal gangs.
The forces carried out precise air strikes last night, successfully targeting specific locations.
The strikes achieved their desired goals, while operations continued to monitor and target the remaining targets.
– Deploying fixed positions on the main and secondary roads within the city of Zawiya.
– Conducting mobile patrols around the clock to ensure security control.
The forces continue to monitor and follow up on the targets detected in the city of Zawiya and the cities located within the scope of the West Coast Military Zone.
We appealed to all citizens to stay away from the sites that were targeted during the air strikes in order to preserve their safety due to the possibility of the presence of explosive materials in those sites.
