Audi Q4 45: faster, further
After last month we saw discounts on electric cars, such as the MG and Maxus models, on stocks that are already in Israel, a renewed electric model is being launched in Israel, the first shipment of which only landed in January. How much did it become more expensive, when at issue is the purchase tax increase and the acceptable increase in price following the technological update?
The answer: in the value of the tax increase only. The renewed Audi 45 Q4 Itron that replaces the original 45 Q4 Itron has become more expensive by NIS 10,000, and its price starts at NIS 320,000. The price of the sportback version, the crossover coupe, went up by NIS 11,000 to NIS 346,000.
The main innovation is a new electric motor, with a power of 285 hp compared to 204 hp of the outgoing model. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, which was a bit slow compared to competitors, was shortened from 8.5 to 6.7 seconds in the imported rear-wheel drive version. The maximum speed increased from 160 to 180 km/h. At the same time, the combined driving range was extended by a full 4 km to 525 km in the base version and to 535 km in the more aerodynamic Sportback. The maximum charging speed remained unchanged at 135 kW.
The basic equipment level includes a 10.1-inch central multimedia screen and a 10.25-inch digital dashboard, an audio system with 8 speakers, an electric sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, climate control with exit to the rear seat, electric opening for the trunk door and a smart key.
The Tech Pack package adds a high-end display with augmented reality technology, an original navigation system, LED Matrix lighting, a 360 camera, a traffic assistant, and a Sonos audio system with ten 580W speakers.
The safety systems include autonomous emergency braking (only when driving forward), adaptive cruise control, a system against lane departure, warning of a vehicle in a dead zone and prevention of deviation into it, warning of a rear collision, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera and automatic high beam.
Even after the price increase, the Q4 Itron will remain cheaper than the Mercedes EQA (from NIS 360,000) and the BMW ix1 (from NIS 350,000) and the Genesis GV60 (from NIS 340,000). However, the electric Volvo XC40 will be cheaper than it (from NIS 310,000).

Audi Q6 Itron:
An intriguing joint development with Porsche. Five years ago, Audi offered a single electric crossover, the Itron, which became the Q8. But since then the market has developed and it is necessary to cover as many niches as possible.
The Q6 Itron slots in between the Q4 and Q8 and is based on a new platform developed by Audi together with Porsche, following the successful collaboration in the development of the GT and the Taiken. The new platform will allow, among other things, charging at a rate of 270 kilowatts, much higher autonomous driving systems and a range of about 600 km.
The design will be an evolution of the existing electric crossovers of the brand, you will recognize that it is an Audi from the first glance. The spacious passenger cabin will provide space for five, with enlarged screens for passengers and an advanced display with augmented reality technology for the driver.

Audi A6: the living room is also electrified
The new platform of Audi and Porsche will not only be used for crossovers. The success of the luxury sedan models from China and the launch of the BMW i5 (see below) also forced Audi to launch an electric saloon car, and as is customary at Audi, it will also be the basis for a station wagon version, Avant according to the manufacturer, which was already revealed as a concept car.

It is based on a new platform and the first in the automotive industry that uses huge aluminum castings, which should speed up production and lower costs.
With a length of 4.75 meters, it is a small brother to the G9 already sold by us, with a choice between rear-wheel drive and 296 hp or a double with 490 hp. There is a choice between a 66 to 87 kWh battery, with a range of 440 to 525 km and fast charging at a rate of up to 280 kW. BMW i5: closing the gap
The guys from Munich took their time here, introducing electric crossovers while Mercedes and Genesis are starting to sell impressive electric saloon cars. Now they are closing the gap with the eighth generation of the 5 Series and the first to be equipped with a battery-powered version. The rear drive was kept, with 340 hp, and the dual drive version gets up to 601 hp in BOOST mode, from two engines. Accelerations? 6 and 3.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. But the main thing is the road behavior and the contemporary passenger cabin, although the design is less impressive than that of the competing Mercedes EQE, but more interesting than that of the Tesla Model S. The prices have already been revealed: from NIS 620,000 for rear-wheel drive, and from NIS 860,000 for the reinforced dual-wheel drive.

The new generation of the flagship of the Hyundai Group is closer than ever to the BMW 7 Series and the Mercedes S Class, although a little more modest, and not only thanks to the symbol. Zikr X: You won’t guess he’s Chinese
Among the many Chinese brands that continue to land in Israel, Zikar, from Geely, stands out for its technological and design investment. At once, BMW’s young division is launching a new generation of the compact Cooper and Crossover Countryman.

The classic G-Class gets an electric version, which, at least according to the specifications, does not compromise on off-road performance, even the opposite. There is a separate motor for each wheel, which should produce grip and drive in offense challenges, including the possibility to perform 360 degree rotations like a tank: wheels on one side rotate forward and on the other side backward. Beyond the gimmick, this will help with maneuvering in tight spaces.
A 100 kilowatt battery should address the issue of range, which Mercedes has yet to reveal how long it will be. It will be waterproof to allow the G to continue crossing streams, and will get steel and carbon fiber protection against rock impacts.

NIO EL6 and EL7: Model Y, a little different
After launching with a pair of sedan models and a large 7-seater crossover, NIO will expand the local offering with a pair of smaller crossovers.

Polestar 3 is the second model of Volvo’s electric sports brand, which is manufactured in China, mechanically based on the new EX90, but offers only five seats and a lot of space. A 111 hp battery and a pair of electric motors, which create a dual drive, provide a 610 km range.
Polestar 4 is smaller, in a unique coupe crossover configuration: it does not have a rear window at all, and rear visibility is done only through a camera and a screen. The basic model has 272 hp, a 102 kWh battery and a promise of 600 km combined range.
