Meloni participates in call with Biden, Scholz, Macron and Sunak on Ukraine
The Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, has participated this Wednesday in a joint call with the president of the USA, Joe Biden, and the leaders of Germany, France and the United Kingdom to talk about the situation in Ukraine, among other matters. Italian government sources confirmed to EFE the conversation between Meloni, Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz; French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. At the moment, no details have been disclosed about the five-party dialogue between the leaders, although it is likely that it was about the shipment of weapons to kyiv, after Germany’s delay in authorizing the delivery of Leopard 2 tanks.
