The Venezuelan Leangel Linarez (Tavfer) prevailed in stage 1 of the Volta a Portugal, 188.5 kilometers between Anadia and Ourém in which he relegated the Czechs Daniel Babor and Tomas Barta to the sprint. Rafael Reis continues to lead the general classification after yesterday’s prologue.

To highlight the Colombian Adrián Bustamente, 7th in the set. As well as the Uruguayan -defending champion- Mauricio Moreira, who is already 5th overall, five seconds behind Reis. For his part, Linarez had already achieved good results this year, highlighting his goals in the Volta ao Alentejo.
Tomorrow stage 2 will take place, 177.3 kilometers between Abrantes and Vila Franca de Xira.
