Bērziņš finished alone with a result of 48.045 seconds.

American Tucker West finished second, losing 0.061 seconds to the winner, while Latvian Kaspars Rinks won the third place in the competition of 29 athletes, losing to the compatriot by 0.225 seconds.

Bērziņš and Rinks were among the 18 athletes who qualified for the World Cup stage.

Roberts Lazdāns took 22nd place, losing 1.390 seconds to Bērziņas, while Edvards Marts Markitāns was among the three athletes who did not finish.

Aparjode won the women’s race, finishing in 41.763 seconds.

Italy’s Verena Hofer and Sandra Robacher were second and third, 0.308 and 0.342 seconds behind Aparjode, respectively.

Zane Kaluma took ninth place, the compatriot lost 0.772 seconds, and Margita Sirsniņa took 17th place, losing 1.586 seconds to Aparjode.

All three Latvians were among the 18 athletes who will compete in the World Cup.

Elina Zvilna took 19th place in the competition of 21 athletes, losing to Aparjode by 2.116 seconds.

In the men’s doubles competition, the newly formed crew Eduards Ševics-Mikelševits/Gustavs Babris took third place and juniors Raimonds Baltgalvis/Uldis Jakseboga took the fourth place in the eight doubles competition. They were 0.187 and 0.550 seconds behind Chinese winners Juibaji Saikei and Hou Shuo, respectively.

The second place was taken by the Slovak crew Tomáš Vaverčaks/Matej Zmijs, who lost 0.126 seconds to the Chinese.

All eight crews qualified for the World Cup competition.

There was no doubles competition for women.

Elīna Ieva Bota and Kristers Aparjods, as well as doubles Mārtiņš Bots/Roberts Plūme, Marta Robežniece/Kitija Bogdanova and Anda Upīte/Zane Kaluma, had secured a place in the fourth stage of the World Cup without the Nations Cup.

In the 2024/2025 season, the World Cup stages will still take place in Germany, South Korea and China. The fifth stage of the competition will take place on January 11 and 12 at the German circuit in Altenberg, and the sixth stage on January 18 and 19 – at another German circuit in Winterberg, and at the same time there will be the European Championship. On the other hand, the world championship will take place on the Whistler track in Canada from February 6 to 8.
