In the first match of the day – doubles – Dāvis Rolis and Rihards Neimanis lost 6-7 (5:7), 1-6 to Isak Padio and Tomā Setoji, who scored 3-0 for Togo in the duel and secured the victory.
Later, Daniel Teng, who is not ranked in the world, lost 6-7 (5:7), 4-6 to Setoji (ATP 1240) in singles. Therefore, Togo’s tennis players were superior in the match with 4-0.
On Saturday, Rolis lost to Setoji 4-6, 4-6 in singles, but Ten lost to Liov Ajavon 5-7, 3-6 in a match between two unranked tennis players.

The tennis players represented in the ATP singles ranking – Roberts Štrombachs (451st), Kārlis Ozoliņš (682nd) and Mārtiņš Rocēns (1333rd) did not play in the Latvian national team this time.
The winners of the second group matches will enter the “play-off” round of the 2025 Davis Cup world first group, where they will compete for entry into the first group, while the losers will play in the “play-off” round of the second group of the world in 2025.
