Dubai: The Dubai International Boat Show, the largest boat show in the Middle East, has begun. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, inaugurated the event in Dubai Harbor. 800 brands of naval entertainment are participating. It will end on March 13.

This is the first show since the opening of Dubai Harbor and the largest post-Kovida international show. There are about 400 boats this year. It is an exhibition of innovative ideas and inventions in the field of water transport. The five-day event is organized by the Dubai World Trade Center.

World famous boats converge. The Sun Reef’s 80 Ecoline, the Princess Y85 and the San Lorenzo SX88 arrived. There are about 50 boats of this type, including the floating ‘mansions’ Fedship, Majesty, Nomad, Cranchy and Larsen.

About 12.6% of the world’s supermarket owners are in the Middle East. The venue will also witness the launch of their latest fleet. There is also a ‘Proudly UAE’ program aimed at promoting domestic boats in the UAE. There are also local brands and small fishing boats such as Al Rubban Marine, Julfar Craft and Al Masroui Boat.
