Honda has started production of the recently launched Honda City eHEV hybrid model.
Honda Cars India has started production of its City eHEV hybrid model. Production of the new Honda City eHEV hybrid model is underway at the Tabukara plant in Rajasthan. The Honda City eHEV hybrid model was launched in the Indian market last week.
Booking for the new Honda City eHEV model is underway. Booking takes place at Honda official sales outlets and on the official website. The booking fee is Rs. 21 thousand and online for Rs. 5 thousand has also been determined.
The Honda City eHEV model is powered by a 1.5-liter, Atkinson bicycle iVTEC petrol engine and lithium-ion battery. These combine to produce 124 hp. Capacity, 253 Newton meters expressing torque. The new Honda City eHEV hybrid model offers a mileage of 26.5 kilometers per liter.
Honda eHEV electric motors charge the lithium ion battery each time it is braked. The brake energy recovery system can be modified with the help of paddle shifters. Honda offers an eight-year warranty on lithium ion batteries.
