Launch of XUV 400 in EV version; Mahindra released the teaser Dinamalar

Mahindra has released the teaser of its new XUV400 electric car.

Mahindra, a leading manufacturer of SUVs, is introducing a new model of SUVs in the Indian market. Apart from that, Mahindra is focusing more on the production of SUV cars than the usual hatchback and sedan type cars. In that line, a new model called XUV 400 will be introduced in the electric version. The company has also released a teaser for the same. Tata Nexon EV is one of the electric cars with the highest range. The Mahindra XUV400 will be launched as a competitor to this. There are reports that the company will officially launch this car on September 8.

The car is said to feature a large touchscreen infotainment system with AdrenoX connectivity. It is also expected to feature Atas technology that can provide first-level autopilot facility services. Like the Tata Nexon, it is said to be available in both electric and ICE options. Moreover, this car has been developed based on the DUV300 model. But the XUV 400 electric car seems to be completely different in appearance and special features.

In terms of appearance, the DUV300 seems to have been made slightly larger than the car model. It is said that there will be no shortage of space. This XUV400 car is built in a length of 4.2 meters. Apart from this, the XUV 400 also gets special features such as DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) with headlights, a fully enclosed front grille, a completely different style of tail lamp and tail gate.

Mahindra is yet to officially reveal the details including the range, battery backup, and capacity of the car. But as it is considered as a rival to the Nexon, the XUV400 is expected to have a range of over 400 km on a full charge. Notably, the Tata Nexon has a range of 312 km on a full charge, while the Nexon EV Max has a range of 437 km.
